Paraiba Tourmaline is one of the most sought after varieties of Tourmaline. Some say it comes from other locations like Afghanistan, but TRUE Paraiba Tourmaline only comes from Brazil. It is known for its Caribbean blue and green coloring which is cause by the trace element of Copper. It often grows in conjunction with pink Tourmaline and other minerals like Cleavelandite, Quartz, and Lepidolite.
